Life's second chances.

Their last names were only a few letters off, so they saw a lot of each other.  Their lockers were next to each other throughout school.  They sat next to each other in homeroom.  They walked down the aisle together at graduation.  They have now walked down that wedding aisle together and made it official.  They were meant for each other.

I can attest to the fact that life takes you funny places.  When you think you are headed one way, there is  always a fork in the road or a little frontage road that you can take before you get back on the right path. Julie & Dan took a while to figure out they were the ones they were supposed to go down that path with together.  But nonetheless, better late than never.

We were all afraid that Dan might have a heart attack when he saw his bride coming down the aisle.  Is it legal to be this good looking?

Julie's kiddos, Chase & Gianna, escorted her down the aisle.

My eyes welled up as Giana ran ahead to give her new stepdad a hug.  They continued on down the aisle together as a new family.

And they made it official.

Love these girls.  Two of them have twins, so it was only fitting for Julie to seat Faye and I with them.  The other couples at the table were a little scared to drink the water.  I don't blame them.  We enjoyed sharing stories and I soaked up all the advice I could.  One of the girls has kids the same age as Brynn & Ky and she ALSO has one year old twins.  She is surviving...and looking darn good doing it.  I was in good company.

Dan, you are every bit of the gentleman that Julie described you to be.

I hope Jamaica was perfect in every way.  You two are truly perfection yourselves.  Thank you for letting me be a part of your day.

Also, thank you to my best bud, Di, for trusting me with photographing your best friend's big day and recommending me.  Lots of love, K
