While working full time and battling constant crippling migraines, she realized there had to be something more out there for her.
And voila! The Love Nerds was born. She has a little bit of everything for everyone as she shares "crafts, cooking/recipes, weddings and event décor, holidays, free printables, nerdy interests, and other life thoughts." Here is what she says about her business, "My hope is that you will find something you want to try on your own or sparks a new idea for you. My hope is that this blog will be in someway helpful to you, even if it only helped you decorate for the next holiday. I share on this blog while also maintaining my Etsy shop and developing my Event Planning business. I feel incredibly privileged that my job allows me to be creative as I truly love sharing projects and ideas with my family and friends, my readers, my customers, my brides – anyone really that will listen to me!"
As if that is not enough, she is also an amazing event coordinator: "The Love Nerds is an event planning boutique that specializes in the creation of personal and unique details to make your wedding or special event unforgettable! Whether you have a clear vision of your event or don’t even know where to begin, The Love Nerds is here to offer advice, guidance, and personal assistance.
During the planning process, Maggie should be seen as your event’s best friend: someone that is there to listen to all of your ideas, talk through options, offer suggestions, save you time and money, and, most importantly, reduce your stress. Maggie aims to craft unique and memorable events while limiting any strain on you or your loved ones. Let Maggie take care of the details so you can relax and enjoy seeing your perfect event come to life!"
I witnessed her true event coordination capabilities first hand as she brought her own wedding vision come to life before my eyes. It was nothing less than spectacular.
We shot Maggie & Bryan's wedding in June of 2012 which you can check out here. I have been meaning to do a feature about Maggie and her new booming business for months now...well she beat me to the punch and you can check out Maggie's blog post singing Faye's and my praises here ;)
Congrats Maggie on your new venture! May it bring you many, many successes!!
