Survival of the Fittest

Our best friends celebrating their survival of the the first year with the twins and their two older brothers.  What, like it's hard?

Snuck in some Gangnum Syle moves too...heeeey, sexy lady.

The little princess.

It's gotta be hard being the little sister.

What's wrong with HER?

Congrats to Tony & Nicole on a job well done.  Looking forward to celebrating many more milestones together.

The cold Spring we just had made it a little tricky for some sessions on those chilly days.  I really had to turn on the creativity.  A special thank you to the lovely ladies at The Sugar Path on State Street in Geneva for so graciously sharing their adorable space and making my job a little easier.

If you have not had their cupcakes, you need to get there ASAP.  They are so inventive and innovative with their flavors...you never know what they are going to come up with.  Here are just a small sampling of their weekly menu:

Prom Cuties

Anyone wish they could redo their prom dress choice???  Luckily I did stick with black & white dresses, but they were pretty plain jane...however, I do remember my hair being particularly hideous junior and senior year.  I don't think 1996 was a year of amazing fashion anyway...let alone for prom.  Yikes.  I am NOT going to be posting any pics here ;)

So, how fun for me to shoot my cousin Daniel and his GF Kelly before they left for Geneva's prom at the Museum of Science & Industry last weekend.  That's a lot further away from home than the proms we spent at the Riverwalk (Riverside Receptions) downtown Geneva.

Is it just me, or did we not look anything like the girls in high school these days?

The talents of my Aunt Pat are infinite...she did their flowers for the occasion.  They were stunning.

Happy Spring!!
