Well hello! Anyone out there still reading this? Sorry for the long silence, but I have good news!
After enjoying some time off for the holidays with my family, I have been a busy little bee designing my new website and I am so happy to announce it is live!
Check it out here!
You can now view your proofs and the rest of my site on your mobile devices. Woo hoo!
It is a dual portal site with a separate wedding site and family site so we can keep some order around here. I also will be featuring recent or favorite sessions and weddings under the "Featured" tabs. I added a new photo gallery just for "Proposals"as these are my new favorite things to shoot. Under the "Design" tab you will find album samples and custom designed cards. Finally, the oh-so-popular The Organic Bloom frames gets its own fancy tab too!
I hope you like it! Would love to hear what you think :) www.kellyvanderploegphotography.com
Enjoy!

New Albums!
This year I have teamed up with the best album company. Leather Craftsmen
has the best options for not only wedding albums, but session albums as well. There is no better way to commemorate all the photos from your session, than in a beautiful album that will stand the test of time.
You may remember Laura & Dustin's wedding from last summer. The cover choices we made for this cover perfectly reflected the feel of the whole day. The color suited the destination/water theme and the material has a little more of a laid back, less formal feel. Just like their wedding.
This is a 10x10 album, Japanese Silk Cloth in Aqua (a non-leather option), photo centered on front as well as imprinting with their names.
Really, this is one of the most beautiful albums I have ever seen.
Justine & Edgar's wedding was classic and timeless. The images they choose for their album were a little more artistic and edgy...so a traditional black leather album complimented their images perfectly.
This is another 10x10 album, Black Top Grain Cowhide, with their names imprinted. You could also imprint your names on the spine which looks great when you have your album on a shelf with other books.
There is no greater feeling than seeing the finished product of my clients' wedding albums. I often have a hard time parting with them and like to hold on to them and look at them as long as possible. Your album from your wedding, as well as from your photo session, are a way to compile photos of you and your loved ones and tell your story without words. These are priceless family heirlooms that will be passed down for many generations.
What story do you want to tell to your grandchildrens' grandchildren? How will your legacy be remembered?
