Did you spot it?

I know I said I was giving up my true love, the big red barn, however I am so lucky to bring it out of retirement next summer at what is going to prove to be the party of the summer next year with Ashley & Andy's wedding extravaganza.  I CAN. NOT. WAIT!!!

Mr. & Mrs. Meeks

This wedding from this summer was really special to me....not just because she had the most amazing shoes...but because the ceremony took place at the very same church where Chad and I said "I do" eleven years ago and it is the same church we attend today.

I have a similar photo of Chad and I doing this exact same thing.  It was so fun to be on the other side of the camera this time.

Francesca's in St. Charles was the most beautiful backdrop for their reception.

Luckily we did not burn down the place.

Congrats Christina & Travis.  What a beautiful, warm summer evening it was.  Thinking of it is keeping me warm on this chilly fall day.  xoxoxo

Wish I was knee deep in the water somewhere...

...but I am knee deep in a flurry of holiday card orders...just FYI, the deadline to get your cards ordered will be December 1st.

I love this time of year and I can't believe Thanksgiving is NEXT WEEK!  I am ready for Christmas early this year...bring on the Christmas music and decorations.  Woo hoo!

Public Service Announcement

I don't care who you vote for -- ok, well that's a lie -- but please perform your civic duty and privilege to VOTE in our presidential election.  There is still time to register and have your vote counted.  I am not much of a political person, but this is the first year I really understand the issues and actually care.

Also, I hope to see you this weekend at the Benefit For Zoe:

I donate to several silent auctions throughout the year and this is my final one for this year.  Come out and support an amazing family and little girl.  You can buy tickets at the door.

Hope to see you there!  And at the polls!!!
