I can't believe it has been over a month since our trip to Jamaica. It was such a nice getaway to spend with Chad before these babies get here -- as well as my sister, brother-in-law, and old friends and new friends who partied enough for me as I drank my waters.
Erika & Charlie's wedding weekend in Negril was filled with sunshine and love and was definitely HOT, HOT, HOT...in many ways.
The welcome dinner on the beach was a perfect way to kick off the celebrating.
And the cliff jumping at Ricks' Cafe was completely entertaining.
I was so impressed that almost everyone in our group gave the 35 foot dive a shot. Adam, Chad & Court all rocked it out.
I am not going to lie...part of me was relieved I was pregnant so I didn't have to decide if I was going to take the plunge or not. Although, it was so hot and humid, I was about to jump in from where I was sitting.
The day of the wedding was so hot and humid also that we literally spent three hours in the pool to stay cool. The swim-up bar made the day complete. The virgin daiquiris really hit the spot.
Then the rain moved in, and I am not talking about a little rain shower. It was a torrential downpour for two hours before the beachfront, sunset ceremony. Everything was pushed back a little, so we ran out of sunlight and had to fit in as much as we could before it got dark on us.
She had two fabulous dresses that fit her like a glove.
All these junior bridesmaids were the cutest.
Before we knew it, the party was relocated into the pool...people were jumping in left and right. It was awesome.
What a fabulous trip! It could not have been a better weekend for everyone. Erika & Charlie, I can't thank you and your families enough for your hospitality and encouragement as I lugged around my belly. It was the trip if a lifetime and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness. xoxo
