My baby Brynn...

Dear Brynn,

You are the love of my life. Every day you amaze me. You challenge me. You love me. Your dad and I are so proud of the little lady you are becoming. It is exciting to see you figuring this crazy world out in your own ways. Every stage of your life has been an adventure and I have welcomed each new chapter with open arms. You were a feisty, little "Trixie" in my belly. Your personality before you came in to this world was just the same as when you graced us with your presence. You were ready to run the show from day one. You are so smart and so intuitive. You will be such a wonderful big sister -- you have such the maternal instinct! I look forward to seeing what our Lord has in store for you...it is something big, I can feel it.

Happy 3rd Birthday my baby love.

Hugs & Kisses,

Mom & Dad xoxo

This post has been a week long work in progress. I still don't think I have articulated exactly what I want to convey to her. I really struggled for the right words. For those of you who know Brynn, she is a unique mix of both Chad's and my personalities and makes them her own. My sweetness is not a baby anymore. She is now a big three-year-old.

We celebrated her birthday in a weekend-long extravaganza. She was so pooped that she actually agreed with me that she should take a nap on Monday.

As you can see, she is totally in to tutus and dress up and girly things. Her uncle E hit the jackpot with this bridal dress and mini heels in just her size.

That is Brynn's finger digging in to the frosting :)

Aside from recovering from Brynn-a-palooza, I have continued my nesting adventures this week. That HGTV marathon has paid off on my back deck.

We also started painting in the baby boy's room. Brynn had to help. This color is called "Flower Pot," not "orange" as my mom calls it. It looks so nice and warm and inviting. I can't wait to put the finishing touches on it.

Oh, I almost forgot, we also celebrated baby Ella's baby dedication (Christening/Baptism) at church on Sunday. Brynn wanted to go up on stage with her Ella so bad that she made a scene and had to be removed from the premises. They were so happy to be reunited afterwards.

Here is my whole family, my buddies, my pals, compadres, amigos. If any of you know the O'Reillys, you know we travel in packs...you invite one of us somewhere, well, we all may just show up ;)

P.S. I am not trying to strike a pose here, I was trying to avoid my heels from sinking in the mud ;) My baby hump is pretty camouflaged here, but it is growing at an incredible rate. I can't believe I still have four months left. I am going to be large and in charge!

By the way, I am kicking off my wedding season this weekend. Can't wait!!!

Happy Spring everyone!
