Where in the world am I?

This weekend I am in Buffalo, New York to shoot Marty & Ashley's wedding. We had a free day today, so we headed across the Canadian border to check out Niagra Falls. Chad came with me this weekend so we are trying to fit in as much as we can. Ontario was a great city and nothing like I expected. Very built up and commercialized. The falls were a little bit different than I expected...I don't think they were as big as I pictured. Although, it was hard to get a good view to the other side with all the plume (how do you spell that?) or all the spray from the crashing water. We got soaked and it was like it was raining even though there were blue skies. I definitely would recommend a raincoat or umbrella if you are headed this way.

That is the plume a/k/a spray that I was talking about on the right. It blows right on to all the observers with cameras on the deck.

This sight made me think of the movie "Bruce Almighty"...."and that's the way the cookie crumbles..."
That is a real rainbow in the bottom of the frame.

If it looks like Chad is resisting my smooch, you would be correct. He can be such a stinker.
I thought this sign was a bit of an understatement.
Remember this guy from the movie "Big"?

This section downstream is called the "Whirlpool."

We visited the cutest little town today after the falls. Just north of the falls is Niagra on the Lake, it might be my new happy place. It was so cute and the homes there are to die for. We had an awesome lunch at an authentic English pub.

I loved all the vineyards in the area and made a quick stop to drag Tanya & Bobby out of the car with me. I would love to shoot a wedding out in Napa.

Here is a preview to the rehearsal dinner I shot tonight...I thought it was fitting that they served "Buffalo Wings." Of course when you're in Buffalo, you need to eat Buffalo wings.

Off to bed...need to be fresh for the wedding tomorrow :) Speaking of weddings. Here is a sneak peek of what is to come from my wedding from last weekend in Williamsburg, Virginia. Gorgeous!!
