Soccer Mom

I am officially a soccer mom. Not a photography "Soccer Mom," who are the moms who buy a nice camera and think they are a professional photographer, but a real soccer mom. Brynn started soccer this spring and we are loving watching her run around out there and take her aggressions out on that ball.

She seriously has some mad skills; none of which she gets from me or Chad. I have to thank my brother and sister for that. Chad and I did both play soccer in our youth, but they were both rather brief stints. My career ended abruptly after an unfortunate encounter with the ball and my face. My dad was a coach and thought it would be fun to see if I could play goalie. Apparently I could not.

I couldn't believe Brynn let me grab these snapshots of her as we got ready to leave for practice.

By the way, sorry for the long absence. Mom duty calls and I have to take action. I can't wait to share the first wedding of the season. Coming soon...
