Joseph & Joshua: Twins!!

Growing up I always thought it would be the coolest thing ever to have a twin. I daydreamed about playing pranks on unsuspecting people, having my twin take a test for me, or stand-in somewhere for me when I couldn't be there.

Before I got pregnant with Brynn, I thought it would be cool to have twins of my own. My father-in-law is a twin, my grandpa is a twin, and I have two sets of cousins that are twins, so I thought the chances of having twins were pretty high.

Enter my daughter, Brynn...I had her personality pegged from the day I felt her first kick in my belly. She punched, kneed, and jabbed at my insides non-stop until the day she was born. She was just as feisty when she came into this world as she was in my tummy. That was when I thanked the Lord that there was only one of her.

However, after spending an afternoon with Joseph and Joshua, my view on twins has now been rejuvenated and refreshed. These little guys are so cute, mild tempered and easy-going. They also are great buddies. How cool is it to have a best friend that you can say you have known since birth?
Joseph came down from his nap with a huge smile on his sleepy little face. This shot told me my job was going to be an easy one.

We got to get in a little one-on-one mom time before Joshua woke up.

But he was even more smiley than his brother when he came down to join us.

This is honestly my favorite shot of the day. Their expressions are priceless.

I can't wait to come hang out with you guys at your birthday party. Thanks for changing my outlook on twins, you two, and thanks for letting me hang out with you guys.
