Sometimes when I am driving in my car, by myself (which is rare) or even if my kids are with me, I turn up a good song that comes on the radio to see if I can sing along to it. Do I know the words? Am I on-key? Could I sing this song in front of a group of people if I got put on the spot at a Karaoke bar? Usually, yes, I know the words, but unfortunately, no, I am never on-key nor would I feel comfortable belting it out in front of anyone, except my kids. And even sometimes they tell me to turn it down.
